Berkley Benneson, M.D. has been a longtime resident of Scottsdale and a graduate of Scottsdale High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Occidental College Los Angeles and went on to obtain his Medical Degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Benneson completed both Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Maricopa County Medical Center with a Fellowship in Cardiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in California.
Since 1981, Dr. Benneson has been practicing General and Interventional Cardiology in Scottsdale. He joined Scottsdale Cardiovascular Center in August 2011.
Dr. Benneson has additional training in both Nuclear Imaging and Echocardiography. Dr. Benneson has been designated as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and Certified in Nuclear Cardiology. He has served as Chairman of the Cardiology Division of Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn and Shea Campuses.
Dr. Benneson’s special interests in the practice of Cardiology include Coronary Artery Disease, Interventions (stenting), Congestive Heart Failure and Cardiac Risk Assessment and Lipid Disorders.
